Problem this year no local peaches - too low on winter chilling hours and a late freeze this year :hit. They were selling imports at the local packing houses and hiding the boxes :(
There's also the Vidalia Onions :)
And Cordele,GA is the watermelon capital :)

Macon's population stats have been the same for years, but Middle GA's population is growing exponentially, the traffic is horrendous - I miss the old times when you could ride around town and see very few cars :old.

I'm off for 2 days, thinking about getting a fall/winter garden in today....just have to get motivated;).

No roasting, we were out of hot dogs and it was too dark for doing marshmallows by the time i got the fire going. But i will have lots of opportunities this fall. Thanks for asking!

Awww, too bad for now. I haven't had roasted/toasted marshmallows in centuries ;)
