Don't be gettin' crazy now. I've seen pictures of Georgia highways when it snows.

Scary around here even with a light, melts as it hits snow ...you must be seeing pics of Atlanta or North Ga?

But we did have 15 inches of real, fluffy snow in 1973 and it was fun
Black ice, sleet is another issue.

We close on sale of a golf "cottage" AKA duplex at the Oconee in GA tomorrow . Have had it on the market to sell and have had it rented furnished for several years and had one day ( today) to clean it out).....no donation center close by could accommodate. But, a friend on the board of the Salvation Army - arranged for 3 great guys and a truck to come over there today and help out. It is so good to know folks with the power to help.

Black ice is no joke, that stuff is just plain scary.

I rolled my car on black ice when I was 7.5 months pregnant with my oldest, scary stuff is right!!

Whoa, that must have been awful DMC! The closest I came to an accident on black ice was spinning around in circles at high speed on the highway...that was scary enough.

I got 3 lbs of onions today at Walmart for $0.25! I even asked the produce person if that was right. And milk was $2.25 a gallon. I thought i was in a time warp! I also bought four nice holly bushes for under $7. each! And they are big. I bought all four, wish they had more. I want to landscape in front of the house.

I did a 360 on ice while on the way to my driving test! I was supposed to drive the Toyota but Mom forgot and drove it to work. So i was driving a Cadillac El Dorado. We started crossing a narrow bridge and there was a truck coming. I just touched the brake, and spun. Dad gripped the dashboard, his face white. I spun the wheel, straightened us up and missed the truck! Not nervous after that, passed that first driving test with no problem.
