You need a Mama Heating Pad brooder for raising birds. Besides being way more natural (and safer) than heat lamps, that heating pad can be used year round for other things when not being used to brood. Like warming YOU!!

I would by a brooder plate and keep the heating pad out for myself.

Brooder plates do not cost that much more than a heating pad--and are fire safe.

I know I am speaking heresy! Burn him at the stake!

I don't need readers, i see better without glasses for reading. But i can't see distance worth beans.

Well, I'm at 15 cockatiels. He bought an extra one. It's a little Lutino that's the sister of the two normal grey boys. I'm actually really glad as she's a doll and she is all for eating which has got her brothers, and the little special needs girl eating too.

I've got confirmed homes for four of the older ones, plus there's the two staying here. Three are going together which is awesome.

Anyway I'd better feed the little ones again then toddle off to bed so I can get up early and do it all again!
