Can they take direct sunlight?Mine are blooming now too. Mine bloom year round almost. They like a sunny day and a cool night which encourages blooms. Also let them dry out between waterings.

Mine are all in the house so I don't know how they do outside. They do well will direct sunlight for part of the day, but partial is better. I have one in my south, west, and east window and all bloom repeatedly during the cooler months. I do keep a colder house at night. Can they take direct sunlight?
Like summer camp? They play baseball late in the year up in NJ! I don't remember our kids ever playing games after September (but maybe because they didn't make it to any of the playoffs?).
Well this is true. And after the 2 that were arrested this summer, that's a good thing
I started the season as the baker and the club house manager. After running through 4 cooks, I took the cooking and baking on full time (in addition to the mgr part). We closed the restaurant for the season a few weeks ago but next season, I'll be the head cook/baker again. Wanna come help me?
Thanks for the info... maybe this plant has hope. I only have windows to the North and the South and they are tinted, maybe that’s part of the reason I have not had good luck either...no natural sunshine.Mine are all in the house so I don't know how they do outside. The blooming triggers are the cooler nighttime temperatures, increased darkness from less daylight hours, and allowing them to dry out between watering. Giving them a dose of fertilizer can help. Flower buds often drop off if they are over watered. I let mine go until they look dry droopy and thirsty, than they get a good run through soaking.
Then Debby laid her first egg?
I hope they aren't as bad as red "fire ants" (pronounced "Fahr aints", I'm told, in Texas).
Must be a halloween cactus. My wife has several of that type "cacti" that bloom a different times of the year.
Like summer camp?
It would be fun! but I have to
Boys won 11 to 0. Game stopped in the 4th inning - mercy rule. 3 boys have been replaced, but the team is still great.
Fun Fun Fun!That's it Ron, come to summer camp in WY next year, lol. Countryside, golf, free food (and then there's the hard work part)!
But they just had Thanksgiving in Canada! Right on time, eh?I think you may be right... my friend gave it to me and she said it was a Christmas cactus. I googled it and I think it is a Thanksgiving cactus, but it still needs a calendar![]()
