Shopped all day, got deals most everywhere i went. Got almost $70 worth of stuff at Kmart for $5.04! Used $20 of shoppers points. I told the cashier it had to be wrong. But no.
Then i went to Lowes and the clear panels that were $22. are down to $11 , and they are 12 feet long! Got 2 gallons of oops paint at $9 each. It went on all day. Drove home after dark, that was weird. Things just look so different! Happy that i am starting to know my way around in Danville, we just moved here in May and i have been to quite a few cities. Good to know where to turn.

When we moved to the country in north FL, I missed the turn to our road so many times, DH finally wrote me out a "how to find home" note that I could keep in the car. I've always had a lousy sense of direction :cool:

I am terrible with directions too. I ony drive in the dark if I have too as I start to panic. Bad enough I have to drive when it’s light out. I didn’t get my drivers license until I was 20, I quit drivers ed as I freaked out in drivers training while going down the highway. I’m sure I terrified the other kid that was in the car with us:lol:
 
I aced drivers ed. Had the school record for most perfect parallel parks in a row. Easy class. Took my drivers test with icy roads and snow on top of that. Mom was supposed to leave the Toyota but forgot so i drove the Cadillac. Did a 360 spin on a narrow bridge with a truck heading for us. Dad turned white . After that i was not nervous at all.:lau Passed first try:cool:

Seems like you are a candidate for a talking navigation system. They aren't perfect, you still have to use your common sense, but they will get you "there" 99.9% of the time. May not be the most direct route, but getting lost isn't either ;)

Way too early (again)!

I was in a store last week, they had out Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas stuff. It's a bit much to have it all at once.

If I go anywhere that’s not local I usually go with a friend or hubby. I really don’t like driving. If hubby and his dad hadn’t pushed me to get my license I probably still wouldn’t have it. I have google maps on my phone....her talking annoys me:lol:
 
I have a funny GPS story …..

Hubby is not a fan of GPS or asking directions, so when we were trying to find the Cat Specialist, he was driving and being in the passenger seat, I fired up the GPS which worked well until we hit road works and she kept sending us in a square!

So, he goes to work the next day and delights in telling the story to his colleagues and how his dislike of GPS is warranted. Anyways, one of his colleagues is South African and he relayed the story of how his GPS caused him to “drive into the ocean” to which quick witted hubby replied “and you washed up here?” .. cracked everyone up! :lau

My best friend and I do the black Friday thing but we don’t leave the house until about 6:30 as we’d probably be in jail for anger management issues. If I want something bad enough I order it online.
