Wow, no one told me the party started at the crack of dawn! Here i am in my birthday suit, chilling in bed and listening to the cat puking! I didn't know he was doing that today so my surprise today was stepping in it!

Seems like he pukes a lot? Maybe it's medical and a vet could help? Or could be his diet? I know my cat pukes on certain foods

I definitely will grab cake. I am currently on a bit of a bumpy road in life, so I have been busy and distracted.

I think we had the conversation last year but today [8th November here in Aus] is Chimee’s birthday and she has turned 7 .. happy birthday mumma's little sweetheart

She weighed a whole 250 grams when we rescued her and I swear 50 grams of that was fleas

They are Java finches. One of the parents attacks the chicks when they hatch. I do suspect the cock bird. The first time they bred the female got no support from him and the chicks weren't well fed. I pulled two at 10 days old, leaving her with one, thinking she'd do better with only one mouth to feed. But the difference between the two I'd taken and the one left behind was incredible after only 24 hours, so I pulled that one too. Next two clutches were attacked but at the time I'd seen a mouse squeeze through the quarter inch hardware cloth and later found a nest of mouse babies so I assumed it was the mice. We made the aviary mouse proof but it's happened again.

Just call me bird rescue. A breeder who I've been hand rearing cockatiels for just brought me two newly hatched crimson rosella chicks. I just have to look after them for a few days until the rest hatch. He's got someone else lined up to raise them as Rosellas don't make the best pets. They can be wild and nippy.

I read the whole thread (well, starting from today) so I now know that to be false

I had another English test today. SO MUCH DANG WRITING AGAIN lol

I also barely studied but it was way easier than I expected and I think I did pretty well

But I was studying most of the afternoon (and walking the dog, showering twice, eating, etc., I procrastinate a lot lol and I woke up at 1 after falling back asleep). So I had no time to say happy birthday this morning. I purposely avoided BYC cause I knew I wouldn't study

So then class was 6-9 but I stayed till like 9:30 haha most people did cause we finished reading Hamlet before we started then had a break so we didn't actually start the test till like quarter to 8? Idk. It's annoying ha. And I write slow and put too much detail but I suppose that's good. I also just waste a lot of time staring at the paper and/or rereading stuff and straightening/evening the papers?

Then I went to get food but I sat in my car a ton both at school and at the store so I didn't actually go in the store until like 10:30 haha

But I finally went in and got food and stuff (didn't want to get fast food, store closes at 11), got home around 11 by the time I shopped and I took the long way home.

Then I of course had to eat the food.

And a lot of time wasting in between all of this.

And yeahhhhhh......

This is the VERY VERY long winded version of why I am so late
