The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

We have goats, chickens, ducks, and cats for now....my wife pretty much handles the chickens and cats....I deal with the goats and ducks....I prefer ducks over chickens....but the variety can get interesting. We are adding Gabbie next month, so she will fall on me, I'm more of a dog person and the wife likes cats....:)

I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of Gabbie CntryBoy!

Good morning friends :hugs

Yesterday was one of those days I question my choice of a career in IT :caf Three separate systems crashed simultaneously but unrelatedly :th

More muppets at Jae’s place I see ;)

OMG CntryBoy777 you hit my pet peeve right on the head … why do people insist on stopping in the aisle to have a chat, carts turned and blocking the aisle; totally oblivious to the backlog of shoppers now piling up :he

Other than being exhausted due to such a huge day and inability to shut down and sleep, all good here and no news of note … TGIF! :celebrate

I feel for you!

We have too many types of systems here at the University. Most of them I have no control over but am expected to support

Ditto that! Same here .. new integrated to old, band-aids everywhere and no documentation :barnie

Here we go again ............ :p

They have been talking about all kinds of cures for years. My theory is they make so much money off medication for diabetics that it's not profitable to cure it.

I cannot imagine a life without diabetes. I cannot remember what it felt like to just eat food, and do whatever you want each day without constantly checking blood, taking shots and dealing with all the crap that comes with it. I am so tired of being like this.
My sister has it, my nephew was just diagnosed with it and my mother died from it. Scary stuff!

Back from shopping, had a great day. Going to try to make a solar water heater for the waterer. If it works i will make another one. I bought glass at the restore today. I got a lot of concrete blocks to make raised beds in front of the house. And Lowes had their spring bulbs on sale 50% off! Got some red and white tulips. I guess deer really like them so i need to fence them in or something.

Me too...german shepherds are so different from dog to dog in looks.
They usually continue to change until about 2yrs of age due to their undercoat and they shed 365 days a year, so the patterns continue to shift and change. Her dad is a sable and her mom is a black & red, so it could get interesting as she develops. She does have the head shape of her dad and for a GSD he is quite sizeable and her mom is too, so she should end up in the 80-90lb range....which is large for a female.

Hattie’s dad is black and mom was the tan/black combo, both smaller dogs. Hattie was 50 lbs almost a month ago, she will be 6 months the end of November. She is going to be a very pretty dog I think.
