Keep his leash on and tie him to something. I used to have to do that with the Great Pyrenees we had. I tied him to the trailer once and he walked off with it!

Seriously, i used to sit on him to brush him , and when he got sick of it he would get up and leave. He weighed over 100 pounds. Hubby and i could not lift him together, even after we got him on a tarp!
Thanks, I'll try that! He's actually pretty good about bathes now and mostly stays still but still tries to walk off occasionally. But with the shampoo, its supposed to left in 10 minutes. Well, I'm not sure if you have to, it says it's not necessary but I think it works better. And either way, the conditioner you do. 20 mins of not active bathing might be too long though and he's not THAT bad yet so maybe shampoo I'll just rinse. Anyway, I think if I do bathe him indoors, it will be easier to keep him still. My worry about outdoors is he would go roll in the grass.
And LOL OMG!
One time he pulled the deck post forward. But it's old and not attached that well anyway. But when he was younger and crazier and still hated bathes, one time he dragged me across the yard!
My dad ties him to the boat trailer sometimes when he is on the hill with him. I better tell him this story! Though usually he has the boat on top of the trailer and Gator likes to just lay down

And my brother lifts him into the car! We always tell him not to cause it spoils him and sometimes he won't get in on his own but he has since learned that Ben lifts him, we expect him to do it himself. He used to expect to be lifted by anyone and still tries it sometimes. Doesn't get in the first try
He also has bad hips and is getting older so we just let him lift him now hah
But only he can lift him. He has this way where he lifts the whole dog and places him in, rather than only lifting the back end to help and possibly hurting his hips. He gets him from underneath and tucks his legs together, idk exactly.
He's like 130 pounds too.....
But both my brothers used to play football and lift and stuff so Gators weight is nothing aha but then again he graduated a long time ago
And idk if I mentioned before but Gator is half Black Lab and half Great Pyrenees. He has a lot of Pyr traits
Our dog does not appreciate a bath either, but loves swimming in the ocean and playing with the water shooting out of the hose. But having to stand still and get all wet, scrubbed and rinsed - in her opinion, worst day EVER!
It's so hot outside today I can't do anything out there. I fed and watered the outside birds about 9am and I had to come in and put sunblock on or I would've been a red lobster! It's roasting and we don't have much shade at all, other than down near the storm water culvert where the mosquitoes hang out. We desperately need some rain as the culvert has stopped flowing and is very low so the poor eels are living in algae and stagnant grot. At least they can travel overland at night to find better water if they need to, but it might be a bit of a trip with this dry weather. It would be nice to have the water tanks topped up too. We have enough water for 3 dry months if we are careful, but often it can be dry right up until April/May.
The Gabby sure is a gorgeous pup!
And those rabbits are so cute and fluffy CF - do they need much grooming?

The ones i used to breed did not need much grooming but i suspect these will so i will be trimming certain areas. One has mats already, the lady said she groomed her but if so she did a poor job. I need some rabbits to start with but i will breed for less coat. I do not want angoras!
Never seen any of my girls get closer to the water dish than necessary to put their beaks in it. And nipple training isn't hard, they figure it out pretty fast. In fact the first one to test the nipples when I first made the pipe in the nest box bottom did so before I even had water in the container. While drinking out of puddles is natural, so is drinking drips of water. I've seen mine drinking water that was dripping off the bottom of a pipe gate.I think my gals would wade thru a dog bowl and aren't nipple water trained.
Um NO KIDDING, as was posted before, DW confirmed "yes, the package should be able to survive a 6' drop and something dropped on it from 6'. Of course the second one is a bit subjective, I doubt anyone would pack a box that could withstand an anvil dropped from 6'Hope all can stand the 6 foot drop. Just kidding
And if it could, the cost to send it would likely be prohibitive.
I know you probably said, but I must have forgotten; how old are these bunnies? I warn people about Jersey Woolies: "They start losing their baby coats and growing in their junior coats at around eight weeks, and for about the next six weeks you will wonder why you wanted anything to do with them. Some seem to mat up within minutes of being brushed. The good ones will get over it; they have enough guard hairs in their coats that they simply don't mat except maybe a little "on the seat of their pants." The bad ones, though, have soft cottony coats, and for them, life is one long "bad hair day."
I believe she said lionheads, which should shed out much of the body hair like mine have done. They don't require brushing either, but maybe hers are hairier than mine.
