Good day everyone! Another sunny day and it has made it up above freezing. My cabbages, cauliflower, peas and carrots are still hanging in there!
My rabbits chewed their way out of the cardboard box and were running around in the back of the Mule! Good thing it is in the garage. I need to finish off this cage. View attachment 1208568 View attachment 1208570

Good morning all! Sounds like we will have a windy yucky day today. It’s snowing out but hopefully won’t last long. The dog and cat came home from the vet clinic yesterday. Hattie was so happy to see us she about took the the techs arm off running for us. Hubby had to carry her in to the clinic as she was having nothing to do with a strange place. He had to carry her into the kennel too, poor girl. Sassy the Siamese took it all in stride. Have a good day.

Poor Hattie! Hopefully they both recover well.

The cage is looking good @CapricornFarm - naughty bunnies! Hope they appreciate all your hard work!

24 today. Probably normal December weather but yesterday was 50 and raining...

Probably not, but i do enjoy building things. They do seem to like their pellets and hay as well though.

I'm back and finally caught up here! So much going on...bunnies, birds, dogs, cats, cages, cooking, fires, salary vs. hourly, in-laws (don't get me started on that subject ), fruit...you guys gave me a lot of reading.

We had a great time in Ft. Collins, had a couple of fabulous meals (that did not include fruit cooked in them, lol), did a bit of shopping, walked miles. It was fun.

Looks like we're supposed to be getting some snow either tonight or tomorrow...I'd send a real snowman to either @Teila or @JaeG but by the time it got there, it would look like that bucket of water

@CapricornFarm did you have a b-day while I was gone? If I missed it, hope it was a good one!

Need to run and finish up some laundry. It's nice to catch up with you all!

Good Morning Friends

DMC I am pleased that Hattie and Sassy are home and doing well.

Welcome back N F C .. you were missed!

It is trying to rain but nothing worth mentioning really. Today’s max is predicted to be 91.5F

We have plans to head in to Townsville on Saturday and I confess that I am excited. I have been to Townsville [city, 2 hours away] a few times since moving here but they were with Syba on his life saving dash and subsequent follow ups so no time for shopping with a sick cat in the car. This trip is for shopping!

There is a super sized hardware store which is first on my list. Need to get some bits n’ pieces to finish off the ponds and some stepping stones to put on the worn track in the grass which is the much traversed path from the front steps to under the house. I am sure there will be many more 'things I need' on the list when I actually get there

Nope, just got an early present. My day is smack dab between Christmas and New Years, on the 28th.
