@sunflour love the rooster sitting on top of the pole! Congrats on the (maybe) new egg layer. It's been so long since my girls have laid, I think I'll consider them all new egg layers when/if they start up again.
Thanks - was gonna get a weather vane, but thought it would be too tall and difficult to attach to a 10 foot tall pole....this one just has 3 screws on the attached fence top hardware, so DH didn't have to climb all the way to the top of the ladder.
Really won't know if all 4 are laying til we see 4 eggs, but the egg was smaller than what we have been getting and looks very different. And I'm pretty sure she's the one who sang forever before and after laying the egg.

. Not positive since the 2 smaller ones look so much alike, but the egg is a lot different than those we have been getting, a lot of small brown dots
Veronica laid 2 days ago, first egg since 12/20. Maybe she has decided it is almost spring, time to get back to work. Betty hasn't laid since 12/13.
