I did laundry today, but husband put it in the dryer for me. Sweet guy! I mostly worked on the rabbit cage which is as done as it will get until i move it. Still need to put doors on, roof, and legs.

I've got a huge pile of washing to do but it's so humid I doubt anything is going to get dry. It's horrible!

Kelsey, I love all those lovely, tall trees round your place. I love your house too. I wish our dog was calm like your gorgeous Gator. Honey is either in sleep mode or full on crazy let's play mode.

I used to think they were kind of ugly just cause they're everywhere around here but they really are nice and I like that it's around it like a big circle ha also a few times when I was younger I would sled down the hill and then lay in the middle in the snow and look at the stars and it looked especially cool this little circle of sky lol of course it only worked on clear nights but yeah. And the trees look way bigger that way too. And thanks! I love this particular style of house too (I think it's a gambrel? Correct me if I'm wrong. Or maybe colonial? Is that only older houses?) But we havent really maintained it very well so it needs a lot of work now haha not really so much structurally but like the siding and molding and stuff like that. And its pretty cluttered inside hah but it's big and I love it. Although that said, it's not really quite as big as it looks just because every room is separate. If I had the choice I would have a more open floor plan place. BUT. I think it was also built in like the 70s so that wasn't really a thing I don't think. And we have a huge basement which you can't really see from the video or pictures. It's the size of the whole first floor. It's got a huge finished section, a laundry room/hall thing, a weird extra room, and an unfinished part which we call the old basement. That's got the water heater and furnace and stuff plus the cat's litter box and of course storage. Although there is also a closet under the stairs. The weird little extra room we used to play video games in then it was a bedroom for a bit now it's mostly storage and the cat's room ha

We looked a long time for a place on the river. In 6 states i think, drove thousands of miles. This one is on a u turn of the river so the water actually surrounds us except on one side. So it should be easy to fence, HA! 13 acres, and we can't see another house from ours. Love it here!

Good morning all

I took some cold medicine last night and must have teleported to the Sahara overnight. I've already polished off a large bottle of water, a 20-oz cup of coffee and 1/2 of a second bottle of water. And still thirsty.

Not looking too bad here. I have baked sourdough bread, made ice cream, am roasting coffee beans and will be pressure cooking a chicken soon. My Youngest DD is making cupcakes. We are keeping up fairly well with the cleaning.

Happy for you! We have been looking for a lake lot that is not surrounded by people. We’ve found one but a lot of money for what
you get. I want it for the view so don’t need a sandy beach or a boat dock,etc. I doubt we will buy it but it’s good to have dreams. (No well but has electricity)
