The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Teila I think maybe you are jinxing yourself by saying please don't die off to the storms lol

LOL Yep! I am not going to say anything or share any radar pics now :p

But I am sorry. :( it seems you are in a really dry area?

Not a dry area; we live tropical and it is supposed to be our wet season with the rain being the only temporary relief we get from the heat.

The rainwater tank we emptied and fixed up just a couple of weeks ago is nearly full.

I would really just like some rain to drop the degrees for a while at least.

Good plan! :P

And ahh that makes sense. Just seems like every storm you post about misses you! Lol at least lately

Good Morning....I worked yesterday and oh my, y'all have been very busy here.

I know you can't buy grits in Canada.

I can send you some if you really miss grits :D , although a "southern staple" I only want them rarely.

I love antiques!

Me too, but I'm an antique :old..

Never been to one, there aren't any in Vermont I don't think.

Maybe not a "market" there for their type of meals?? Mostly what I call "commercial southern".

What happens if you touch the bottom?

 . Interesting that yours didn't explode. Personally I don't like to touch wild fungi or mushrooms. But yours is quite unique. Why not just make a photo framed art?

I have a Castor update from my sister’s FB page and it is good news! :clap

This time last week, we did not think we would ever be able to take a photo like this of Castor again. My boy has been very sick, so sick he could not stand up. Thanks to the wonderful staff at xxxxx xxxxx veterinary hospital, he is slowly getting better. We were so very scared we were going to lose our very precious boy. Not totally out of the woods yet, but looking very hopeful.

It is awesome that he is up and about and outside. He looks happy too!

So thankful to see him doing better, he is a beautiful dog.

Here's the Mighty Colossus with his friends and one little newly hatched Button who keeps trying to get under him. Colossus is so much fluffier than they are.

They do look so happy together, all of them are cuties.:love

Kdogs relax, why so many questions? Just enjoy her for what she is. My sister and niece both had DNA done of their shelter dogs. Results were insane. They complained and company did it again - producing totally different results - just as weird. Rediculous

If the vet says she is fine etc. forget about the rest, if she is part this or that, it doesn't mean any of that will be reflected in her attitude or size , etc.

Gee, a couple of my relatives had DNA testing....and found out they are Mutts :lau

Evening folks. Finally home. ARG. :frow

I had to googel "ARG" and still not sure what that is :idunno.

I don't think I could ever taste meat or cabbage after buried in the ground :sick

All your Bunnies are so cute - how are their personalities?

So sorry folks for your winter storms, cold...or hot and dry. We've had some rain, overcast days, but very spring like with low's around 60 and highs around 70 - overall a wonderful weather week here :D

Good morning all! It’s a winter wonderland this morning.

Looked like that here on Sunday morning. Today it's all gone and temps are supposed to be in the mid 60's today and in excess of 70 tomorrow. Oh, my aching back from slogging around in the clay.
