The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Yeah, come on Mother Nature, mid February and snow??!!?? What's up with THAT?? ;)

I think I'll move some wood from the little barn to the porch today, not raining or snowing and it is just above freezing.

We have now moved all the way up to 10*. That's about 1/2 way to our expected daytime temp of 20*. Not counting wind of course.

Have a great day!

People in the South would be amazed that you will be going out in snow like that! "Are you Crazy! What is that white stuff?" :lau

When I first moved to VA, just outside of DC... The Boss gave the whole spiel that VA is down south and Ohio get's snow so I need to come to DC... Woke up one February morning to 17" of snow in the driveway. Everything was closed. Our county pointed out that all 3 of their plows were doing the best they could...

The County I grew up in had mountains and valley in it. There were snow plows for the mountains so we got some relief if it snowed...Still not much snow in the valley though

So you have bantam Button quail?? Do you need a magnifying glass to find the babies?

Now that would be something! :lau No, I have a few bantams chickens and I love them so much. Much more than my bigger girls actually, though I do like our blue araucana eggs and they are good little layers. Unlike my Houdans who have not been very generous these last two years with their lovely white eggs, and they are moulting already.
