He'll do fine, he loves animals. He's a good watercolor artist and I'm hoping to get a chicken picture out of him while he's here. Can't have him playing with you guys all day, he needs to make me a picture!

That will be fun to see your son even if it’s short and sweet. Nice you have someone dependable there while your gone. Good luck on that picture. I assume you want a picture of your own chickens?

My sister painted and donated this along with 17 other paintings for a benefit for a friend that she works with. Last she looked it was at $100. All of her paintings went. Another went for $115. She got orders for 2 more of this one. She usually puts names in the heart, that’s why the plus is in it.

Cap, the baby bunnies are adorable.

We'll be gone 9-10 days. We're going to see parts of Utah, Arizona and Colorado. This will be a really new thing to DH as he's never been to the SW. These are areas of the country my parents always took our family to on summer vacations but I haven't been back for years. I'll take lots of pictures and bore you all silly with them when I get back

Sounds like a wonderful vacation...revisiting places from your youth will be so much fun.

Teila , flying ants in the house is so creepy. We also have the Japanese lady bugs frequently inside - they really don't bother or bite us, I just wish they would show up outside where their aphid eating abilities could be a benefit.
