I've had people on this site try and tell me I'm putting our health at risk by feeding our dog raw food. If nothing has happened in almost 6 years of us doing so I don't think we have too much to worry about. It's meat and it's treated like meat. Same hygiene applies! And the company we buy it from was set up by a vet. All meat can be traced back to its source.

So I totally understand your frustration at people's judgemental and narrow minded comments but it's best not to dwell (though I still struggle with that a lot of the time). :hugs

I think they were saying that rather than stop and wait for him to notice me I should have just honked or rolled my window down.

And yeah, we haven't had many people in a while thankfully but it's ridiculous! We had one lady say that she saw the signs but her dog likes to sniff there and she's from the neighborhood!

And ugh i hate when people, even vets, get so judgey about raw and say how unsafe it is!

And thank you! I try not to dwell but with the anxiety it's really hard. I also have a bad habit of wanting to fight back/defend myself.

Thank you! I don't get why it was taken so negatively.

And I am trying not to but it's hard. I'm mostly over the actual comments but it's triggered a lot of anxiety and depressing thoughts :(

Thanks! Good advice but I have a really bad habit of wanting to fight back/defend myself and also having to read new comments to see if there's anything else i can comment on etc. When reallt i should just delete or block and walk away and not spend so much energy on it. But oh well, too late now.

I thought my quail might give me until tomorrow but one has hatched so far and most have pipped. It's day 15 and even one of my Coturnix eggs has pipped! It obviously doesn't want to be left behind! Not sure about the other one as it's blotchier so harder to see a pip on (I only put two in because I caught my favourite white girl laying an egg and I'd like some of her offspring, then another egg to keep that one company). I have one of her babies that's turned out to be white.

So my brooder is warming up and I'd better get food and water organised.

I think I'm just going to go to sleep. I showered and I'm just exhausted from today. I looked at the book to see how hard the info was to find and there's literally charts that have the exact info in the book so I don't really see why we have to write it down to another chart..... gah. But oh well. But I'm exhausted so I'm just going to do it in the morning.
