Here's another, Blooie!
I had a history test today. Had a government one yesterday. Oddly, the history one was easier despite not being open note like yesterday's. Lol and also, last night I discovered I had a take home quiz I never handed in... whoops. It was blank and I had put it in the front of my notebook so when I would take notes in class, I just opened to a blank page rather than looking in the front, whoops.... it was blank too. But no matter, I just filled it in last night and then handed it in today. I told him what had happened after the test, that I had just forgotten I even had it and I don't know how it happened so I did it last night, etc. And asked if it was too late to hand it in and he said it wasn't and asked if I had it so I handed it in today. It was actually good review for the test too haha and there was an essay on it too which was great because one of the possible prompts for today (we chose out of 5) was the same one!! So I just wrote basically the same exact thing. Except that the test wasn't open note/open book like the quiz or my government test (you could make an 8x11 sheet of paper for today but I decided not to) so I forgot one of the 3 points of what they wanted. But I remembered 2 others. So basically in the book, it mentioned 3, then listed 2 others as kinda side note, I forgot one of the big ones, but I think I still did really well because I remembered A LOT of other details and what the book said and what I wrote. Plus the quiz question is the same so he can read that one and see that I do know what it is haha also, there was a ridiculously easy multiple choice question on whether John D. Rockefeller was oil, steel, or 2 other ridiculously wrong answers. We learned about robber barons/captains of industry and second industrial revolution and all that. I know the difference between him and Carnegie. I also studied a little bit last night and had just read the difference. Yet I froze and could not remember for the life of me. Of course I was also a bit nervous cause I was like 10 minutes late and slightly disrupted people. But still. I put steel cause it sounded like a "strong name" LOL but then I kept thinking twice and was like I'm pretty sure it's Carnegie but I don't knowwwww.
Anyway, upon Googling after, Rockefeller was, in fact, OIL, and not steel so I am glad I changed my answer LOL
Also, there was a third industry person who I can no remember.
And for the ID questions, I don't think I knew them as well as the IDs for government, but that's okay, I still knew them well enough and it was pretty easy.
I think despite this one not being open note, it was way easier. I love history.
The government one wasn't really hard though per se and was still pretty easy, I knew most of them, I just spent a while looking up the answer/topic to be absolutely sure it was the right answer even if I knew it.
Also I froze up on simple ones for that too. Like what branch of government the President is.....
Like....
COME ON KELSEY! EASY!
I eventually figured it out though. It didn't really mention it in the book but I kinda guessed.
It's executive, right? Cause he doesn't write the laws (legislative) and he doesn't enforce/judge them (judicial), so it must be that one, right? Anyway, I spent forever in that question believe it or not haha
I'm not even a bad test taker and don't get anxiety or nervous. But sometimes I freeze and can't remember even if I JUST studied. But then I remember harder ones?
Oh well.
I haven't Googled the answer to that one yet.
