The Map is for Poison Ivy?

Poison Oak is in the entire country except for California and Alaska. It is broken up into Eastern Poison oak and Western poison oak.

Glad I live where we have only one! I wonder why PI hasn't gone into CA, plenty of similar weather conditions, topography, geology, etc to the adjoining states.

Ok, so went looking some more to see why the poison ivy maps are different.
There is an eastern poison ivy (the one most referred to as poison ivy) and a western poison ivy. Eastern poison ivy is isolated to the east but is very prevalent in those areas. Western can be found everywhere but isn't as prevalent or has interbred in the east with eastern poison ivy.

On the compound trifoliate leaves, the two leaflets opposite each other are typically asymmetrical, in contrast to the terminal leaflet which always shows bilateral symmetry. My big fear is Kendra finding a scorpion. Kate and Evan would know to give it a wide berth, but she wouldn’t. Spiders and bugs Kendra already doesn’t like....don’t know how she made that connection on her own...but scorpions look less like bugs to her.

Good Morning Friends

Great news that Solo is no longer solo Cap Poison Ivy; another thing I am pleased we do not have here in Aus! I hope you recover soon!

Oooh, talking of hazmat suits and respirators .. hubby has an RDO today so he has headed off to Townsville to get some underlay for the bedroom on which to lay our new flooring. Anywho, on my shopping list for him I put goggles and face mask. Of course, he asked why? .. because I have hot chilli’s to dehydrate and crush, silly!

On a side note, I was | | this close to taking a sickie and going with him! As much as I do not want to be here, my work ethic stopped me. Also, hopefully I might just need that sickie for an interview!

Oh yeah, yesterday out of curiosity, I also looked up how much leave I have owing, I was thinking it was 9 or 10 weeks, but turns out it is 12 weeks!
