Turns out it was 5 each lol my friend and I just went with my friend to get coffees for them lol

He must REALLY dislike the taste of coffee.

Very scary moment in that he got knocked out cold and was stretchered off the oval but he is OK.

Oh, JUST what the new mother wants to see! Good thing she already had the baby, that could have tossed her into labor.
"You are going into labor, where is the father?"
"Out cold in the ER downstairs Doc."

Aussie Rules is unique with four goal posts (at each end of the field). Definitely a young man's game. It's fast and rough and exciting. I've watched a few games but I don't really have a clue what's going on (DH does his best to explain). We get the occasional game shown on tv down here in NZ.

We've been buying new (cheap) furniture just to tart the place up a bit which has given us the motivation to knuckle down and get painting so we can get this place on the market soon. Our old furniture is so old and broken! Still at the sanding stage at the moment though! All the prep stuff takes forever. I keep finding bits that have been missed that need filling. Thankfully we have 5-7 working days before the furniture gets delivered.

Yep, I did feel for her, probably watching the game from her hospital bed with their new baby daughter and hubby being stretchered off

That's the plan! We are going to head north a bit more as Auckland is just infill housing and traffic jams now.

We drove through an area on our way to the shops that used to be farmland. 10 years ago I worked at a childcare centre there that was in the middle of nowhere really. Now it's surrounded by apartments and huge houses on tiny sections, all beige and grey and depressing, and there's just more and more land getting chopped up. It's so sad. I couldn't live like that.

We are extremely lucky where we currently are with 1/3rd of an acre but we are only supposed to have 6 chickens and 6 quail. We definitely need room to expand and our son would love some sheep. I'd like to breed some bantam chickens too.
