Had a nice surprise this morning after a rough night at work.
Checking on my bators and have 147 more pheasants today! but then I think about it and I get this

I think I'd be going like this trying to figure out what all to do with them!

We've been buying new (cheap) furniture just to tart the place up a bit which has given us the motivation to knuckle down and get painting so we can get this place on the market soon. Our old furniture is so old and broken! Still at the sanding stage at the moment though! All the prep stuff takes forever. I keep finding bits that have been missed that need filling. Thankfully we have 5-7 working days before the furniture gets delivered.

I've still got more hatching, another 2 weeks and some more, and another 2 and more!
Fortunately I have the space and enclosures for every bird. No telling how many prairie chickens I'll hatch this year....they haven't started to lay, yet but the males are booming so it won't be long.

I do not like attic work either. I tell myself that it will help with the heat in the summer to get the fan back up.

Wow, you sure have neat birds! What do you charge for pheasant eggs? Do they ship well?
