Not a problem as long as they are able to carry her part of the way if she gets tired out.

No rain the last few days and none forecasted this week. We are watering the garden. Not much up yet, one short row of spinach. Have 1 more planted and a short row of rainbow chard. Two 10' pea fences planted both sides, one a few days ago, one today. One 8' Fortex bean trellis and one 8' Suyo cucumbers trellis both planted both sides about 4 days ago. Nothing up.

The rhubarb is leafing out and some of the asparagus are coming up.

Ahh okay. I wasnt sure cause I've been reading a lot lately about too much exercise too early or the wrong types of exercise being bad for puppies joints, especially larger breeds

Good morning friends :hugs

Kelsey have fun with all the planting and enjoy the rewards.

Sour yeah, hubby tends to stop snoring once he has moved into a deeper sleep. I got another great night’s sleep last night with the cooler weather and my new ear plugs.

Debby Really? You have to be kidding! The same stuff! :he Sorry to hear about the storm damage also :(

Blooie :hugs

Hubby is rugged up and complaining that it is “freezing”; this from an American who lived in Canada and knows all too well about shoveling snow

Me? Loving it!!

Today’s maximum is only predicted to be 78F :clap

Plans for today, finish the housework, grocery shopping and then hit the couch cos the boys are playing this afternoon. I got all my watering done yesterday so that I could have this afternoon off. As you know, we were not expected to win last week but did; this week is even tougher and definitely not expected to win but fingers crossed! :fl

Another good reason to take it easy today is that when trying to get a pair of hedge clippers down from the top of the cupboard downstairs yesterday, they slipped and took a decent sized chunk out of my arm which is a bit sore and bruised today. The top of the cupboard is not a good place to keep hedge clippers but as you know, space anywhere to put anything here is limited ;)

No. Plant away.

Oh good! Thanks

Got this. Anyone have those angel food cake recipes?

View attachment 1385527 View attachment 1385528

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup self raising flour

1 1/2 cups caster sugar

12 egg whites

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar

1/2 teaspoon salt

DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Be sure that your 10 inch tube pan is clean and dry. Any amount of oil or residue could deflate the egg whites. Sift together the flour, and 3/4 cup of the sugar, set aside.

2. In a large bowl, whip the egg whites along with the vanilla, cream of tartar and salt, to medium stiff peaks. Gradually add the remaining sugar while continuing to whip to stiff peaks. When the egg white mixture has reached its maximum volume, fold in the sifted ingredients gradually, one third at a time. Do not over mix. Put the batter into the tube pan.

3. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven, until the cake springs back when touched. Balance the tube pan upside down on the top of a bottle, to prevent decompression while cooling. When cool, run a knife around the edge of the pan and invert onto a plate.

Remember to turn the pan over to cool. That is what the bars are for on the top--to flip and cool the cake.
