Blooie Fiona sounds perfect! I am so pleased that she is a keeper! Yeah, that was definitely sarcasm on my part regarding more IT work.
After many e.mails backwards and forwards, I eventually managed to ‘resit’ Part I for Company #2 again as I had already sat it on Saturday! Got the first transcription of Part II completed and have not gone back to it.
Are you asking why?
Well ……………………………… I probably don’t need to!!!!!
I quote preferred Company #1: Thank you for completing the typing trial. We are pleased to inform you that you have successfully completed the medical trial - congratulations!
At 10AM tomorrow I have an appointment for a phone catch up which I am led to believe is just a formality and a chance for them or me to ask any questions we may have, get to know you etc and following that, contract should be offered.
So, I am not celebrating yet but so much closer to doing a happy dance!
@NFC, good thing she’s a good fit for the family because she darn sure doesn’t fit anything else! Two more photos to show DH then I’ll back off about her. Today she’s learning “her place” and she’s on her first car ride.
Time for a bigger house and car Blooie (j/k). A dog house for Fiona would have to be as big as my house Oh, she's so lovely! Her & Ken make quite the couple
Things got busy today and everything took longer than I thought it would The pizza party for the golf course employees went well, they all seemed pleased with the lunch. I made too much though (so now I have a pizza in the home fridge for later). Ended up working about 3 hours but that's fine...overtime is always nice
Just picked up some more potting soil and some Garden-Tone becsuse the plants DEFINITELY need to be transplanted.
I'm thinking I'm going to pot some of the plants this year. Last year I only potted one pepper but it thrived.
I might come back and get some organic soil for the raised beds but I've never used it and it says for in ground use only so idk.
Anyway, we already have some Garden Tone cause I just bought a bag a couple weeks ago and have part of a left over one from last year but I want to be sure I have enough. Can always return it.
Anyway, what I did last year, and it worked out great, is I buy the cheap potting soil and mix in the Garden Tone and it works out great. Cheaper than buying a million bags of the good stuff haha although you can't label it organic this way but I don't care, I'm not selling it.
Anyway, we have this great store here, Ocean State Job Lot. They have everything. Clothes, food, gardening stuff, pet stuff, shampoo/soap/house supplies, random things you never you needed! And it's usually way cheaper than a regular store and they get some real good organic food and stuff. Anyway, I think it's like overstock, misprints, that sort of thing, but some stuff they always have and sometimes it changes. I love this place.
But anyway, they have this $3 potting soil, 16 quarts. Not a huge bag but $3. Then the Garden-Tone is expensive. It's organic and by the company Espoma and this store also carries Tomato Tone, Rose Tone, chicken poop, soil acidifier, soil lime, etc. By the brand, some cheaper or more expensive. This one is $10.75 for a little 8 pound bag so slightly crazy BUT mixed with the $3 soil it's not that bad because you don't put much in the pots and it works out great.
Although I read that UK sugar is much much courser than our sugar and that Domino brand granulated sugar is basically the same thing as caster sugar???
Odd the doe would leave it out so close to people. One year we had a doe that had twins behind the pond in the really tall weeds from the prior year. They were inside the crappy 3'-4' fence. We got the alpacas that fall, and I put up a 4' woven wire fence with hot wire on top. No more little Bambis frolicking behind the barn. I'm sure the doe could clear it but I doubt she would trust them being in the same space as the alpacas.
