The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I started out in "stack testing". Back then they had no elevators on the stacks we tested. Climb all the way up on a ladder to the work platform, sometimes 470ft. Great view, I really liked it, wasn't scary. if the wind was blowing the stack would sway 2ft. in each direction :lau watch birds flying below ya! Kinda

NFC just put a lot of starch in his shorts when you do laundry. Do they still sell starch? It's the little things that get noticed.

You aren't the one who needs :smack
I agree!
Morning everyone:frow

Yesterday was busy in the restaurant and I'm pooped. Guess that's the good kind of tired (from being busy). Everyone got their meals promptly, they got what they ordered, they all liked their food and there were zero complaints. And yet, DH always has some sort of criticism, what he considers constructive. Some day I hope he'll be able to say something complimentary instead of "constructive".

Sorry, not trying to whine, really. Just tired from trying to do faster, better, perfectly and more of everything.

(Someone slap me, I need to snap out of it :hmm)
He’d get the look and then Really??from me. Sounds to me like you’re doing a great job!

Morning all :frow No whining from me today, promise!

@rjohns39 I hope you'll share some pictures once you're little ones make their appearance.

@CapricornFarm we were at the Grand Canyon in March but not flying over it. Love that place, so interesting! Heights have never bothered me, you sure get a different perspective on things up high.

Almost forgot to mention...the first antelope baby was born yesterday! The first of many judging by the number of pregnant ladies on the course. I'm going to take my camera to work for a while to see if I can get a photo of them.

If you ever get the chance, go on the ride 'Soaring' at Disney. That's like flying. I tried to fly as a kid and landed face down in the chicken run.
Tried that once as a kid, too! Jumped off a huge hay stack, about 12ft. above the ground, into a 25mph wind, with a sheet of plywood. Maybe flew 1foot. :gig The fall didn't hurt....it was the sudden stop!:hmm
