Aw I'm sorry to hear that :/

Is that the Brahma?

Thanks. Yep, our Light Brahma. Well, she hasn’t been ours since August, I guess. Jim hated to tell us, but I saw him today and as always I asked how the chickens were doing. I guess it just happened Friday or Saturday. But, as I told someone else today, don’t cry because she died, smile because she lived!

Aw that stinks but that's a great attitude to have! She sounds like she was a great chicken from the stories you shared and she had a great life at your place and then I'm sure a great life with him. That's great you're so close with the new owner though

Thank you!! Yeah, it's hard because when my mom's not drinking she's really great and we're pretty close but then when she does she's annoying or worse so it's like I don't want to forgive her but I do. My brothers I don't think have and kinda hate her. Well, hate's a strong word. My little brother is still nice mostly but my older one is more like my dad and thinks she's like this loser and it pisses me off. Granted, she also has a lot of junk all over the house and no job but it just annoys me cause she's a good person and tries hard so why are you such a jerk. I mean, he's never really a jerk to her (well, sometimes he is) but they'll say stuff about her. Him and my dad are weirdly close.

Anyway, I definitely need to move out. I think I'd be way better off haha

And sometimes he doesn't but tonight he did

But I'm sorry :hugs to you too
Getting a job and moving out sounds like a wise idea. Only you can help yourself if that’s what you really want.

She was a pretty bird:hugs

So i was 7 years old.
I remember JFK being assassinated. My mother put me in front of the tv, told me to watch. The procession was televised locally and may have been nationally, idk.
Anyhow, when he was shot the station just went to a static screen. I yelled at Mom, "hey, something just happened to the tv." I had no idea what had just transpired in real life! Later on that evening, I began to understand what had happened that terrible day.

I remember JFK being assassinated.

I was taking a final exam in a forestry course. I finished, left and went to see the Princess who worked in that building. After finding that Kennedy had been shot, I returned to the exam - got yelled at by the professor, and said, "The president has been killed." The room erupted in bedlam. I remember vividly.

yeah, where ever we went that afternoon everyone was crying or very upset. I was only 4 years old.....so I didn't really know what was going on.
