Go for it! I quit on melons as the raccoons eat them before we get them.

Okay so I didn't end up planting the foil one yet but I plan to, I just had so many pumpkins lol I did plant the other 3 though and I also bought a pack of sugar pie pumpkin seeds today I planted too because I want to make pumpkin pie. Didn't label any or do hills, just kinda put them whereever, so I'm a bit nervous I won't be able to thin them but oh well. I did plant them in sections though so like each type together but still. I put the huge 300 pound one on one end of the garden. The others are more mixed together. Well, the 100 pound one I put somewhere else too so the sugar one and multicolor one are close together.

Oh and I didn't plant all of the 100 pound ones seeds, planning on making another area for pumpkins too. And possibly buying more pie pumpkin seeds.

Maybe I could sell pumpkins? Idk.

And ahh that stinks about the raccoons! I had chipmunks get some tomatoes last year. I plan on fencing the garden this year.

I got cukes and potatoes from my garden today:wee

Morning Bob, DMC and all :frow

@JaeG what a cute little chick! New curtains can give a room a whole new look, bet your house is looking good with all the work you've been doing on it.

@Michelle Farmer-Brown are you still helping out with the pups?
Yup. Kathy works 4 12 hour shifts, followed by 4 days off. She'll be heading back to work on Saturday, so I'll be back helping then.
They got their tails docked today. It'll be illegal in Canada starting Aug 1 to dock tails. She seems to think it'll be a selling feature.

A couple of years ago I grew or at least tried to grow the giant pumpkins...suppose to get to 500lbs. well, mine only got to 70lbs. :gig

Oh wow! That would be slightly disappointing if it didn't get that big but then 70 pounds is huge too! And it actually might be good cause idk how I'd move a 300 pound pumpkin lol

Yep, that was before I learned how to prune and fertilize them for optimum growth.
