If it's never happened before until the last like year or even just this year is it safe to assume it's not reverse sneezing? If they do thay, assuming they would start early on and not randomly late in life? He is 6. And in conjunction with all his other issues I think it's all related and/or something serious. :(

Don't know? The reason they do it because somethings in their nasal passages their trying to get out...so, in your case Idk.

His sounds more like he's trying to throw up or cough something up but doesn't. I really need to try to record it
 
I kind of missed the whole pickle conversation.... When I had a CSA, I told the farmer I was looking for canning cuke's (not the pretty ones) and got a couple bushels for like $5 per bushel... I made sweet pickles, b&b pickles and dill. Dill pickles are a challenge. The best are fermented, but don't can well... I also made sweet jalapeno relish and jelly. Still haven't figured out how to make good pickled jalapeno's (like popeye's). One day I'll figure it out.

Good morning Debby! We needed the rain but not quite that much...the last I looked it was 2.5”. Usually we don’t get a lot in July unless it’s in the form of a storm with the hail and wind. I wish I could send some your way.
 
Well Debby, i'm learning my way around, but good so far... I can see where my skills are needed but patiently waiting so not to upset the apple cart... Rain, hmmm 2.2" this month and 90+ for the year. OH! And my bator is chirping, got a few early starters. Main hatch isn't until tomorrow.
