The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Lol
You crack me up Cap.

Have you got your goats yet? It's been almost a year since you had the shed built.
Nope, DH has not put the fences up yet. And i am working on getting the rabbits out of the barn. Actually, i would work on the fence if i didn't need to build this coop.

Finally saw a hummer - man are they late this year! Only the one, and she was here and gone so fast it was more like a glimpse, but at least I have hope now. Stoopid little birds! A whole smorgasbord and they can't find it.

Everyone I hear from say they are in short supply this year... I have a male who likes to chat with me in the morning. He'll hover a foot in front of my face and just chirp away. I also have a female who will get within 4" of my face and clearly voice her discontent if the feeder is empty. I probably have a dozen more who like to bother my regulars, but apparently my regulars are at the top of the pecking order. I still want to plant more flowers for them, but I just don't get flowers.

i use to have a little hen that would buzz my head when i was in the flower bed to let me know she was back for the summer, she also would land on my clothes line right by my hand when i was hanging clothes out, the ones i have now aren't that tame but still land and drink while i'm sitting beside the feeder

I am under the impression bumble foot is more an injury than a "communicable" disease. I've been fortunate KNOCKING ON WOOD not to have had a bird develop it. I don't think you want to kill off all the bacteria in the run, a lot of it is good.

Careful, DH won't know he is at the right house when he returns if you do too much!
bumble foot is a staff infection. If you can lessen the staff bacteria you will have less bumble foot. litter life out competes bad bacteria with good bacteria. The lactobacillus spray would do the same thing.

It is like using pro biotics to crowd out H pilori in your stomach to get rid of your stomach ulcer

It's not the money, i think he likes to be in control sometimes. :lau

Lol makes sense! Funny he lets you build so much though yet is so worked up over a little teeny hummingbird feeder. :P

(I know he's probably not actually worked up but you get my point hopefully lol)

If it was me, I would put it up anyway :P

Just drank some milk and then noticed the date, do you think I'm gonna get sick if it's a week past sell by? I thought we just recently bought it
Even it the milk were sour you would be fine.

The date on milk is a sell by date. It is supposed to be good for 5 days or so after the date.

I agree with Bruce. NEVER get braces from online. You could end up ruining your bite which could cause major problems down the line including needing restoration of your teeth and complications like TMJ or worse.
I get that TMJ if i chew gum
Precisely. Complications arise even when an orthodontist, who has gone through lots of training, works on your teeth. Imagine what could happen without that knowledge.
That’s why I’m going through my dentist. He’s right in town if I have issues.
