You win Sour!![]()
Did you ever smell that stuff ?How it is made or why the first person ever ate it is beyond my comprehension.
Had to do a look in Wiki:
"Once it reaches three months, the cheese produces its notorious smell because of the bacteriumused to ferment Limburger cheese and many other smear-ripened cheeses.[8] This is Brevibacterium linens, the same one found on human skin that is partially responsible for body odor and particularly foot odor.[3]"
Now doesn't that just a person wanna go "yum"?![]()
Cheese that smells like BO!? Nasty! Plus the fact that it's fermented in the same bacteria. Doesn't sound very safe. Of course, their bacteria is probably sanitized or sterile or whatever but YUCK.
My mom ate that and liver wurstNO!
My dad would take that stuff with us on our family vacations, it was his travel treat. Smelling that stuff while stuck inside an enclosed air conditioned car for days turned me off it forever!
NO! Bad Ron, bad boy!
Trust me that BO is a fragrance by comparison.
Well my Dad could beat your Dad.Mom kept a jar of Limburger cheese tightly closed in a jar in the refrigerator. My father would eat Limburger cheese/onion sandwiches when he had such a bad cold that he could not smell the cheese. Ever smell that ? Poop of any sort smells like roses by comparison. We kids used to clear the house when we saw that stuff coming out of the refrigerator.
Starving maybe??Did you ever smell that stuff ?How it is made or why the first person ever ate it is beyond my comprehension.
