Camping in September is wonderful. You get everything to yourself. The days are still warm and the nights get to a wonderful sleeping temperature. I spent a week hiking in Riding Mountain National Park in Manitoba. One of my best memories.

Wow! I've never heard of or seen a Zedonk. What a beautiful animal. Did it seem gentle?

Yes, it was very pretty too. I’d never heard of one either. There was some sort of cow with a camel hump there also that I’d never seen. Messes with the head a little!

Apparently other zoos have tried to pass other animals off too like dogs as lions and bears and Chinese zoos LOL

No, that I would have remembered. It was in with a Scottish highland cow.

I don't remember what they were called but, I read in the newspaper quite a while ago, that people bred zebras, to something else (horse, ?) but the get had the unpredictable nastiness of a zebra
