morning everyone
got up early and went to the chicken swap about ten miles away, didn't take a cage, didn't need anything ,I'VE got to take a cage cause everytime i don't take one i find something i can't live without, this time it was a pair of mille fleur cochin bantams, trying to get a flock going again since i lost everything last winter and those are my favorites but anyway since i know alot of people that come, a friend gave me a box to bring them home, got the pair for $2.50 and a blue cockerel

They had those at the swap yesterday but both males.

We got my sister and her hubby and our nieces on their way so we are off on a quick shopping trip to get a shower repair kit for a crack in the floor of our 4 year old tubNothing is made to last. Hubby also has to get some stuff for his new shed. It looks like it’s going to rain so it’s a good day to go.

That is sad! Tubs should last longer

i now have two cockerels and one rooster and three hens, hoping to raise some of these for my own and then i can change cockerels and hens.

we were in the plumbing business before we retired, thing got cheaper in quality and more expensive in price every year, in fact what we would have to pay for a water heater now is double what we sold them for then crazy what the mark up is now

Even the hardware cloth is getting more light weight and poorer quality as time goes by.

My hosta are trying to come up again, been chewed level with the ground twice! Kind of like my beans.
