Pretty sure that what I just paid here too.... We are usually the highest price in Michigan..... By a wide Margin..... But our gasoline here comes from Wisconsin not Lower Michigan.

You in the UP? I used to play in Crystal Falls... Couldn't convince DW that was a good place to retire....

wow, you lucky devil, we won't see that until we start to florida this dec. right now in pa we go anywhere from 3.00 to 3.10

Guess I’d better start saving falling leaves that we rake up. Ken just announced this morning that he wants some chickens! He said he didn’t realize how much they kept the grasshoppers down and kept the apple trees cleaned up. Most of our heaviest travel is between now and May, so he wants to schedule the arrival of chicks for the first of May. Here we go again!

I like it ok, thanks for asking Phil. This won't be the exact place where we plant ourselves for good but when DH gets the itch to find another golf course to manage, we'll be on our way again (that probably won't happen for another year or two).

Well Debby, we ended up with 14 ducks, 12 BH and 4 RIW. I have a guy who wants 10 processed ducks for Christmas... Will have to chat with him and likely order his from the hatchery. Was going to process 10 extra drakes for him, but someone got to them first.

Here's the firs four plus the first batch of BH... Rest of the pics didn't make it to the computer yet...

don't like to brood ducks and chicks together, but backed myself into a corner.

Oh and the turkeys are mad at me as I didn't get their shelter finished today. Just need to add a few zip ties and hot wire tomorrow... Need a charger & Ground rod, but have to wait until Friday for that.

Congratulations Bob! I'm curious though...what would someone do with 10 processed Christmas ducks? Are they going to be gift wrapped as presents?
