Loved the hummer stories RJ!! But see, the one that got beat up... I would feel bad for him LOL we've got enough property that maybe I could have a lot of them. And/or plant some flowers. Not sure what sort of flowers they'd like though.

Unlike your more common LGDs, they only bark when there's a real threat. They're not quite as aloof and are not wanderers. Also, they're quite rare in Canada, so he's quite unique.

That makes sense, those are all excellent reasons! The barking and wandering can definitely be annoying. And I think they are rare here too. He certainly is unique. And beautiful.

I have a neighbor that can catch them in his hand and put them to sleep.... He will lay it in yours and it will wake up realize hes not dead and zoom off. Tom is amazing with wild animals.
