we don't have a runnings here but maybe i can find another company that handles a black diamond and check it out, seems to me that i did see that name somewhere when we were out yesterday, maybe rural king
i would think that they're both the same, i know the white ash is used to make baseball bats, its a very hard wood, and very hard to cut, my husband dulls a blade every time he cuts and then has to sharpen it again before he can cut again( usually he can cut for about three hours if that )

Good morning all. Busy day today and tomorrow. I cancelled 2 cleaning jobs today as I figured out I’m not wonder woman...only doing 1. I have to bake for our church fall festival tomorrow and my sisters wedding. I’ve had nightmares the last 2 nights so apparently it’s in my sub conscience. I’m hooking up with my sister to find out how she wants things to be at reception then home to bake...I could never be a caterer, ugh! Have a great day all!

Oh and Luna has to be really, really bad to use her claws, like if you keep persisting (the one thing she HATES is being brushed) and gets progressive louder lol but she doesn't even use her claws when Gator used to chase her in his younger days and sometimes he would corner her or stand over her (he didn't intend to hurt her but did of course get in big trouble every time) and I watched her when cornered a couple of times, she would swat at him but no claws. Sometimes I wished she WOULD have used her claws and taught him a lesson but now that he's older and sicker he really doesn't chase her anymore and they actually seem to get along now! They lay near each other a lot. Never together/snuggling like our old cat and dog but they pay across the room from each other a lot or sometimes she'll be on the couch or his bed and he'll be on the floor. Or I can pet them both within arms length. They don't wanna admit they like each other

And speaking of Gator, I think he might be starting to have some problems with his jaw

I thought he just didn't like this food or was being picky (which could also be) but my dad was noticing when he gave him a can last night he was just licking at it and did eat it but he usually gulps it down in one or two bites. Also he went back for his kibble a day later (last night) after it was softer (had put olive oil and some immune boost supplement stuff on it. He's weird, hates fish, loves olive oil). Also I gave him a water buffalo horn a few days ago and he didn't even touch it and hasn't been interested in one of his old cow hooves my dad found either. I cam understand not wanting the old one but to not want to try a new thing I got him that he's never had before? Not even a couple chomps or licks?

We knew this might come and he eventually might start having jaw problems but when he first got it like a year ago he hasn't had any issues so I thought maybe he never would. Has had plenty of other issues (skin infections, repeated eye infections, etc.) but I thought maybe we were just lucky with the jaw thing.

I really hope it is not his jaw though and it's just a fluke so I will try other kibbles first but I know I am likely just being overly hopeful and optimistic and/or in denial. But the good news is it doesn't seem too bad yet and his mouth isn't locked shut yet (read some dogs can only open it a certain distance) so I think for now softening his food will work. But I do think we need to talk to the vet again. Maybe he could go back on steroids, read that can sometimes reverse it or prevent it from getting worse. But I'm not sure it's worth it or fair to him cause he also has a bad knee and hips and his head is so caved in and eyes so sunken in now

Doing well Debby, the girls are going on strike again this year... Only have a dozen eggs to sell today. Hopefully the new pullets will soon start laying.

ETA: of course come spring I'll be buried in eggs

That seems to be the way it goes...feast or famine!
