In WY we don't measure distances so much by miles as by how long it takes to get there. Casper is only about 125 miles away but takes about 2-2.5 hours to get there. No matter where you want to go...you can't get there from here. :D

Congrats on the selling some of your birds Sharron! Good luck on hatching

The right place is out there Jae, you'll find it!

Great baking DMC! Your goodies and cake look terrific :thumbsup Nice pictures of the bride and groom too.

That's great news Bob, I'm sure having him home is a big relief to everyone! :yesss:

Sounds like me, I don't really measure in miles either. I don't even usually know how many miles places are but I know exactly how many hours. Example, most of the Northern New England states (VT, NH, Maine), 2-3 hours away unless you go way further up North then it can be like 5. Or right over the NH border is like just over an hour. NYC 4 hours. I think DC is like 7 or 8. Erie PA is 9 unless you speed or stop too long. Springfield/western MA like 3, Albany 3 or 4. (Apparently according to Google Springfield is only 2 and Albany only 3 but for some reason I always remember western MA as being 3, my brother went to school out there. Maybe it's small roads or something). Boston like 40 mins (unlees you take the train or T then it's an hour), Cape 1 hour. Idk why I have all that memorized :lau besides the fact that we used to drive to Erie all the time

Snow, snow, snow...we drove through it yesterday mid-way to Casper and brought it home with us. It's been snowing all night.

Gee, I wonder if the golf course will be open today? :gig

Glad you made it back okay

In Japan, they would use orange balls to golf in the snow:idunno

Really? Wow!

I am 6'2" and went into the Big and Tall store when I moved here, never heard of such a store. Didn't realize you needed to be tall AND big. I don't think they had anything smaller than XL. I weighed about 145# at the time.

145 at 6' 2"

Why do I feel like I'm on the DD and Sean show?

Lol same

Japan must really love snow because apparently even the monkeys do :lau Japanese macaque aka snow monkeys. They literally sit in the hot springs :D
