speciallly not a canned worm.... :sick
I've eaten chocolate covered ants, not amused by them, they get caught in between your teeth. Cow tounge, tastes just like roast beef, grasshoppers, snake, frog legs, bobcat back straps, meadow larks, squid, and grubs. . .but prefer not too!

Eww, I hate that, and when they get in flour. I put my flour in the fridge to keep them out.
The flour is fine. I use it quickly and have it in tupperware flour containers. I have them fairly under control by using pantry moth traps. I did have some in a box of cereal recently but they may have come with the cereal. I have bulk rice portioned out and in the freezer. Most things are in zip lock bags. I need to get more sealed containers.

Dad was a fantastic cook... Mom could burn the same pot of beans twice.... :gig

My first ever lamb was made by him.... Mom turned her nose up and had Weenies...

Lamb roast Dad slit it all over and poked in Garlic slices... Then layed Rosemary all over the top ... Served it sliced and with Mint jelley....

When Mom cooked fish it came out translucent and flavorless and stank up the house... Dad got tired of that.... Went sport fishing Brought back a whole SkipJack Less head and guts. He had watched the guys filet it out on the boat and opted not to pay the tenbucks for the service. He split it down the spine and ran his hand under the meat next to the ribcage peeled out neatly.... When he was done he had about twenty pounds of tuna.... Sans Bones and skin.... Then he cut it into portions and put them in a seal a meal pouch along with a couple of pats of butter and a slice of lemon Sealed them up and stuck em in the freezer.

All we had to do is pull a pouch out cook in the microwave from frozen to done... OH MY GAWD.... didnt need salt and pepper...

Wow, that tuna sounds heavenly!

It does!

Shark is very good too

One of the best pieces of fish I've ever had was a swordfish steak. When my brother lived in the Keys, he went fishing with my youngest son and that's what they brought back. Bro cut it into steaks, wrapped it in banana leaves and grilled it.

Makes my mouth water just thinking about that. That was one of the best parts about living down there...all that super fresh seafood!

Flour goes right in an air tight container..... Same for cornmeal.

I use Tupperware also but then it goes inside of another container with a few bay leaves , to keep the beetles and moths out, that's if it's in the pantry. Otherwise it's in Tupperware and in the fridge.
