I had gangrene and was sent from our local hospital/clinic up to St. Vincent’s in Billings. I got checked into the ER and was sitting there waiting when one of the nurses stepped up behind the desk, picked up my paperwork and asked the girl I’d checked in with, “Okay, is this the the lady who was sent up from the Pre-Morgue in Lovell?”
Um, I would suggest that until the swelling goes down, you avoid mirrors. It has to hurt bad enough without seeing what’s hurting...at least that’s how it works for me. I can have a bruise without knowing it, but as soon as I see it it starts to hurt!
