The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I’m glad too, Cap. :love Sean, you gotta think before you step. So do I, and I don’t think very well. In the overall scheme of things, by 68 years old (almost) if this is the worst thing that ever happens to me in my life I’ve got it made. I’m healing, just not as fast as I’d like. Got too much to do to stay in bed, and I’ve always been of the mindset that the best thing to do is keep moving as the pain will allow. I have a follow up on Nov 16 to see if I’ll need more aggressive treatment and I plan to be able to dance the Limbo before that day. :lau

You and me both Blooie, except I'd be happy to just walk and get off my back. The incisions keep me from laying on my right side and if I try laying on my left side, the weight (gravity) pulls down great enough to cause considerable discomfort to the right leg...so it's either flat on my back or sitting up. Nothing like an incision on top of a previous incision that hasn't healed fully. Plus 2 new ones! :old

Sean you are not a dummy. You've repeatedly endured things that would have driven lessor men off a high tower (without a cape). Just hope after you heal this time, you have a nice long, dry spell with out any more incidents, and remember what it was like to feel whole and good about it.:hugs

Well my cape's a little tattered and worn. I can't leap a tall building in a hundred bounds, nowadays! :lau besides what else can you do but endure. I hope there are no more spells, little alone a dry spell.
Maybe that's the problem, someone put a spell on me? Humm!:gig

Monday!
Had an electrician out today to get an estimate on rewiring the house. Looks like the easiest/quickest way to get it done is to tear the place down to the studs.
I hope you do not have to do that!

That's what we had to do here. The old wiring was very dangerous. Taking off the old wall linings meant we got rid of any mold. Some of what we took off around where the plumbing was was disgusting - black with mold. :sick

We are having a lot of rain here. We lost power for awhile yesterday - not sure if that was due to the thunderstorm or whether someone drove into a power pole (which is not unusual). 2 hours south of us there was a small tornado. We are supposed to get more of the same today (hopefully no tornadoes).

Glad your doing better, Cap. I get a little better every day....just really slow this time around...it's harder to fight off the trauma to the muscles this time, their way much sorer than the last time. If I move before thinking how to move it sends a shockwave through my leg telling my brain, "hey dummie, that hurts"! Oh well, it will pass in time.
:hugs:hugs:hugs Call for a second opinion please.

I hope the auction goes well!
thanks, it did, had a good time for a change, things moved along faster, wasn't as cold, bought three bags of apples for the wild deer, 2 boxes of carrots for us and the rabbits and 2 boxes of pears, maybe to can, depends on how they taste, all together a nice day even tho its cloudy:woot
