That’s still the plan, Debby. I miss having them and those fresh eggs. How we’re going to manage it with the Gentle Giant I don’t know. But where there’s a will there’s a way, I guess.

Our apricot produced like crazy.....loved picking them off the tree and eating them still warm from the sun. We may plant another when things slow down next spring.

Maybe Fee will decide those chicks are her babies!

I bet you're looking forward to a slower schedule in the spring. (But I think your idea of slow and mine may be a tad bit different )

So far it looks slower, but even now we’re having to add things to the calendar that weren’t on there before. We were supposed to have nothing from Friday when Ken gets home from Rock Springs until Monday when we head out again for 5 days. But we suddenly have a Job’s Daughters function in Gillette on Saturday, so that blows the weekend off out of the water.

Come on 2019!

She's so sweet and gentle she will probably be fine with them. Plus she's so big and clunky, they can probably move a lot faster than her :lau

I'd just be sure to introduce early cause I made that mistake with Gator (worried he would hurt them) and it was harder to train him I think. I mean, he's pretty good now, no more jumping at the fence/running laps around it (all in play but still unacceptable) but I still don't trust him with them free range. He still occasionally chases and I know he would grab one if he could. He has before (she was fine and he was defending a bone and she came too close so we no longer give him them when they're out but still). Granted, I haven't really worked with him much and he'd probably be easy to train if I did but still.
