The Farmers' Daughter
Bob's biggest Fan
Growing up in Kansas, we saw our share of tornadoes so I have a healthy respect for them. The worst I saw was in June 1966, a F5 ripped through our town. There's actually an article about it in Wikipedia if anyone want to see:

Some of you may recognize the name Bill Curtis, he was our local news reporter and it was his warning, "For God's sake, take cover", that saved a lot of lives. We lived at the bottom of a hill and saw the tail go over our house and slam into the top of the hill. Our house had mud and straw embedded into the wood siding but others weren't so lucky. So much devastation, it looked like a bomb had hit. It cut a huge swath right through town.
You can bet I've always paid close attention to storm warnings.

But wait, you weren't born in 66 right?
