Definitely don't use tap water for the neli pots. This is so sad but also literally so terrifying and disgusting. Please please be careful with these things if you use them and DO NOT USE TAP WATER!!

I have a cupboard full of baking ingredients so guess I need to get on it. I'm going to fix mom up with a box of treats and send them to her. She doesn't do much cooking or baking anymore so she'll like getting that.

I've been dragging my feet on baking Christmas stuff because we don't want a lot of it sitting around the house (my mom can only eat so much of it).
Problem solved! DH was just telling me he stopped in at the big equipment rental place he uses for the golf course, and the manager asked him if I was doing any holiday baking. Him and his wife come into the restaurant occasionally and they always ask for dessert. So...looks like there won't be any excess stuff after all. Stan & his guys will be getting a big plate of goodies!
That puts me in the mood to get cranking on the holiday treats!

Of course city tap water should not have amoebas in it either! You could get them taking a bath or shower. Normally they are in dirty water in ponds
Boiling water would kill amoebas.
