The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Oh, she's so cute! I already love her! Have the vet check the folds in the skin if he/she doesn't do it automatically, too, will you? Some breeds, and Bulldogs can be one of them, with deep skin folds are sometimes prone to hidden fungal infections in there. Not trying to be alarming, and since you've had Bulldogs you probably already know that. But if she's a little shy, and was a failed breeder, there's a chance that she didn't get a lot of extra care, regularly checking for those things. Just a thought....
yes, thanks for the advice, i already noticed that besides the dry eye that on her feet she has "black areas" and looks licked raw, sadie mae licked her feet the same way and i had to get medicated shampoo, it might have been a bacterial or a fungal infection, can't remember. i also need to put her on a diet which is going to be harder than hello since i'm the same way:gig, lady told me that she only had one litter cause one pup had a spaded leg and it kept getting worse so only one litter, she also said that all the breeders wanted her for a breeder but she wanted to keep good lines not ones that threw pups with problems, happy for that, she wanted a family that just wanted a pet. alot of breeders are just in it for the money otherwise we wouldn't have puppy mills. gonna change her name from brenda to bella, she seems to be warming up to us, got to say, love this dog already, i guess i was ready for another one after sadie mae
