That's a great idea leaving it rooted. Will you have to wait until spring to replant it?Good morning everyone. Going to cart the Christmas tree inside today. Being still rooted makes it heavy but i think it will be worth it.
The original plan was to knock out the kitchen window and create an addition for our dining room table, with the back portion used to house utilities. The stupid foundation contractor never went to the house and did measurements like he said he was going to, so now the wall stops halfway along the window. We'll have to put in another wall when we're ready for the addition. In order to hurry permits along I switched it to a deck for the time being.Nice tour Michelle. What views!
I am amazed you've had a hole in the roof for 5 months and no water damage!
What is the foundation to the left of the house as you approach, future garage?
Wouldn't that have been a plum orchard?
They are a special plum called a french prune. You cannot get prunes from standard plums.
I blame sunsweet for putting plums on there package. The sugar and moisture content is different and dehydrate and preserve better.
You cannot get a prune from the big red plums you buy in the store. If you dehydrate them, they will be completely different.
I like them best out of the dehydrator before the get pumped up with water like they sell them in the stores. I have a hard time finding them though since no one in my Family grows them now
This is not a fruit cake but is very good!
