Because she isn't CRAZY!!

Good tools always make the job easier. IF the animal isn't struggling it is an easy snip, snip, snip when they are sharp. No squeezing with a dull tool.

:lau probably true.

and yeah, definitely way easier. snip, snip, snip like you said and no trying to make sure the nail is actually in the guillotine/lined up, just a lot of snipping. And thankfully she wasn't struggling too badly. And afterwards she even came up to my room, jumped on my bed, and sat next to me, then climbed on me, purring and kneading away. This is after she hid under/behind the Christmas tree (it's in a corner) and the dining room table for a while first lol

Oh and btw, I managed to do one paw. It was much, much easier with good clippers (I recently acquired various sizes of my favorite brand of clippers I have for the dog, have the largest ones for him, got the two smaller sizes and the one with the quick stop plate thing, much easier than the guillotine clippers I used before and way sharper. She did not appreciate it but with a towel she was way easier. And she will hopefully appreciate it. Her nails were VERY long. Was able to take off huge segments of literally just clear/dead nail without quicking her. But that said, I did quick her once and I think possibly another teeny barely nick on another nail. But I put quik stop powder on both of them and stopped it, the first one was pretty bad and she was very mad but managed to finish the last couple nails. And I think I got the bleeding to stop. Will be watching her nails very carefully over the next few days for infection and keeping her litter box very clean. Will do the other front paw another day and then the back paws may be a bit more of a challenge.
I hope you can get the other three!

I need to trim the nails on the Bunny soon. He is funny! He does not like the fancy rabbit food but prefers the one that costs less. Very Silly!

Thank you! I hope so too. I am going to try the scruff idea next or the towel again.

Good luck with the bunny! I imagine bunnies would fidget more. I used to have a bunny a long time ago. I miss him. I really loved him. And that is definitely silly! Lol Gator is similar though. Doesn’t like a lot of the high end brands of wet or dry food but loves Alpo cans and Purina dog food lol oh well, as long as he is eating something.

They fidget and have very strong back legs!

They scratch more than cats and can go deeper LOL

Or sometimes he likes something but then by the time you get near the end of the bag, he no longer likes it anymore. He is very picky. Especially now that he is older and sicker.
Momiji loves kale and never seems to get tired of it. Hi knows that he gets a bit in the morning each day and is very excited.

I don’t know why simply saying “Merry Christmas” doesn’t seem like enough to express what’s in my heart for each of you this season.

May there always be a Charlie Brown Tree in your hearts and a gentle spirit guiding your deeds.
