The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Mice aren't on my dietary list but, I haven't ever seen a cat bring their people ice cream cartons. Guess it's not as fun as decapitating a rodent. They kill it, it should be in their feed dish for lunch.

Now that would be something if they could be taught how to bring us ice cream and foods we actually enjoy!! Wonder if they could bring me an eclair lol

Yep. And I noticed Grandpa got a kiss ;)

She loves to give kisses and hugs! Lots of times when she's hugging one of us she'll say, "Sooo much!" We always say that - love you SOOOO much! She just gives us the Reader's Digest condensed version!

Good morning everyone!

It's 13* and we're all fogged in.

Pretty heavy up here this morning and yesterday too, Debby. We have an Eastern Star luncheon today in Powell to honor the Grand Master (guess I'm just chopped liver) so I hope it clears up a bit by then. Took Ken almost 3 hours to get home from his meeting in Billings last night....I kept the phone by the bed in case he called if he had trouble. Times like that I hope he doesn't - not only does it mean he's safe but if he did call that would mean I'd have to go get him. I rarely drive anymore, so I'd be scared pooless if I had to drive in the dark, especially in winter.

I swear, if I get the old, "You really need to join Star" speech one more time I'm going to pull every hair out of the head of the one who's telling me that!! I have made it crystal clear that I have never wanted to join, will never want to join, and have no intention of changing my mind! I am NOT Eastern Star material...I don't like organized meetings, I don't like wearing dresses all the time, I don't like memorization, and given all that do they really think I'd be a good member? A good member gives all she has to the organization because she enjoys it. That ain't me.

Doing ok here, thanks for asking.

DH is home for the weekend. Good thing...I was going to get some laundry started but there's a dead mouse at the bottom of the steps. UGH, can't stand those creepy little things (dead or alive). Now he can take care of the removal for me

I'm not bothered by the ones I can see as much as I am the ones I CAN'T see. Kinda like spiders!

We are not! Doesn’t sound like we will get any:celebrateHow much are you getting? Yes, he texted me at 2:35 a.m. that he was at the mansion. Apparently the house is pretty big. They are staying with his friends grandparents for a week or so. He sent me lots of pictures along the way. He said at one point lots of police cars went whizzing by when they were by Omaha Nebraska. That one made the news.

Hmmm Wonder what that was about? Glad he's there and safe.

Time for Klondike bars! :drool
She's just eat the whole box. Probably messier than a gallon carton.

I LOVE IT BLOOIE. She's the daughter I didn't have. I'd even share ice cream with her .

My son can take ice cream or leave it - WHAT???? :th
Some genes are generation skipping.

You'd think with 3 resident cats, there wouldn't be any dead or alive around here.
With our 3 resident indoor cats we would be lucky to find one "just" dead. At best they are half chewed up. At worst they have been chewed up and barfed out. :sick

What part of AZ is your son in DMC? I've been to north Arizona a few times, beautiful country.

That would have driven me straight out of the house. :sick
It wasn’t chewed up:gig
