I baked brownie bites today just to see how the new element worked. They were delicious

Anybody want some chocolate chip cookies or apple pie and ice cream? Also have whipped cream, cool whip, and butter. And yes I know none of this is healthy. But I have been doing better lately and have had a desire for cookies lately so yesterday I bought one pack of the little precut squares and I have limited the number I have eaten. I normally down them pretty fast but have not this time. The pie, well, we went grocery shopping and saw it, and normally store pies are not good, but this one the crust was sooo high up and the pie was really heavy, says it’s like 3 pounds but we picked the heavier one despite them both saying that, and it is LOADED with real apples, unlike most store pies which are really flat and have that fake canned apple, or if they are high, it is just crust and no apples in it, like hollow, not this one, it actually is stacked that high, and is delicious lol so that’s why we got this one. It was worth it. Came from BJ’s and does not taste like a store pie. Tastes real. After these run out though, no more sweets lol

Pond is getting ever bigger. Trust me, looks bigger in person than it does in pictures lol also aerial shots (sort of, from upstairs instead of first floor), show the size of it better but the windows are all covered in rain so I can’t get a clean shot, had to open the front door to get these. But trust me, it is huge lol pouring rain all day and as you can see, the snow all melted into it. Got to about 45 yesterday and today about 55. Windy too. Very very windy and getting windier. Lights keep flickering.

It is just stinking cold out! We have a double sundog but only wanted to stick my head so far out the windowThe wind has died down a lot but so miserable out.

@Blooie way to go on the cake! Let's just chalk the unevenness up to the altitude (it really does have an effect on baked goods). I'm sure your family will enjoy it!

@DigMyChicks never heard of a sundog before...is that the rainbow looking thing to the left of your silo?

Here too, we are about to have single digits for daytime highs, and minus 0's for nights plus brutal wind chills.

i'm home, got to admit was pleasantly surprised at this dentist, i want to trade my dentist at home for this one, hes so gentle and gets to work at once . if i had known how far the dentistry had come in the last few years, my teeth would have been much better condition , hes that good
but it was a lonnnng day, after dr. bludal, had to wait 2 1/2 hours to go across the road and have the other dentist drill out the plug dr.bludal had put in the cap and put a permanent plug in, then had to stop at wally world to put in a subscription for a pain killer just in case , got home and the men were here about the lake in the road and had the first part of the pipe open and water shooting up three feet in the air (bottom half of pipe still clogged) came in the house to let dogs out and bella had, had a party with the garage. BUT now i can sit down and play on the computer

Morning Sean! DMC, as well as that big old Linton worked I always found a place for it!

I love to cook and I’m darn good at it. I hate hate hate to bake. Been watching the Kids’ Baking Championship for a few years now. This morning after 3 hours and 10 minutes of sleep, I got a wild hair and thought, “I could do that!”

Yes, very pretty but sucks when we have them.
