So after next week the only things that will need to be done is insulating the floors, mudding & taping, priming, hanging doors, refinishing the hardwood, laying the vinyl tile in the kitchen & bath and tiling the bathroom walls.

@drumstick diva I read in your post that you live in the Chicago 'burbs and thought I should mention that my brother's family is still living in my late mother's house in Lockport, my 1 cousin lives in Romeoville and a cousin from the other side of the family lives in Lisle. My moms oldest sister lived in Chicago on the loop. Kinda like we are kin folk,huh?

great to see life going on. Here it's frozen -3 below and some new snow, going to be a lot worse over the weekend.

I just saw a post/picture of the windchill in the Midwest next week and it was scary!! -53 in Chicago! stay safe and I hope you are able to stay indoors!!
