I'm so happy that I actually cried!

I was in the girls' coop scooping poop. I heard an attempt at a crow that I didn't recognize. I looked around and darned if it didn't come from one of my chanteclers! He's just starting to grow his longer feathers and his comb and wattles are small but I don't care. I've got a boy!!

Good morning Folks. Fixing for a good day here. Temps will rise above freezing the next 3 days. Single digit lows predicted for Wed. - Fri. I'm not complaining as I know that others have it far worse. We need a bundled up shivering emoji.

FSIL texted me at like 7, though I didn’t wake up till around 10 to 10, and said it, but said she will wait LOL we are all getting brunch at 11 so I think they will reveal it then. I was saying thanks and it must be impossible and she said DB already tried to sneak a look and she chased him away and he was unsuccessful I can see how it must be impossible, they are like their kids, and he LOVES Franklin lol though he loves them both.

We've got some really stinky weather coming - substantial snow/ice, strong winds, highs just below 0, lows, worse than that.

Imagine the bus will be cancelled tomorrow.Going out today for some essentials, more ice cream, Sara Lee low sodium turkey from the deli, tv dinners, if I get desperate.

Had an entire loaf of whole grain wheat bread that I forgot about - not looking good. Wouldn't even let the sparrows have it.

Prescriptions to pick up if the doctors office ever sent them in. Target Pharmacy doesn't open till 11 am. on Sundays- so have to wait on that.

If you shame him about not acknowledging you at Christmas, will he let you borrow a kid for a week during their winter break?

Good morning all! Starting the day with -20 and a snowstorm this afternoon.

Well I'm sure not going to hit the Like "button" for that!!!! Our lows for the next few days are still predicted to be in the minuses but near 0°F. Supposed to get 4"-5" of snow Tuesday night going into Wednesday AM. Looks like I'll be up early pushing snow because those totals end at 7 AM, no quantity guess after that and there is a decreasing chance of snow. Supposed to be near freezing when it starts, still 19°F at 7 AM so it will be fairly heavy snow.
