I'm contemplating it. I need to figure out where I can get another post in and then go from there. Pulling out the already secured corner is no where near the top of my want to do list, so I might end up splicing in a shorter piece.

Having built several miles of fence in my time, I feel your pain Bob. I had to shorten the distance between corner posts one time due to a huge flat rock about 2' down.

Funny you say that Debby. I have used dynamite to get cedar stumps out of the ground. Even funnier (is that a word?) the company I got the dynamite from was ACME Explosives Co.
