Because, like DD2, you have never had it so you know you won't like it? She's like that with most everything she has never had.

If you like steak you would also like lamb chops.

I wouldn't make that claim. I like both. DW likes beef, can take or leave lamb, would prefer to leave it.

I don't get the 'lamb and mint jelly' bit. Can anyone explain it to me ? I love lamb - even mutton. Mint jelly - not so much. Sadly the Princess does not like lamb so I never cook it for us.

You and I are in the same boat!
The only reason I can think of for mint jelly is to overpower the flavor of something you don't like.

So who in their right mind would introduce themselves that way! unless they were?

Nope, that's the sad part of that....you will have to divide everything up, if one of them files for divorce, yeah, not married legally but if your say you are married by introducing yourselves as such, the law interpreted it as being married.

Makes for a very expensive drunken tryst!

Start the stove first, then you can warm up enough to figure out how to make the coffee.

I didn't say I wouldn't like it...I've just never had it. I might like it if I tried it and would be willing to try it, just never have.

P.S. And count me out on the mint jelly too...as far as I'm concerned mint anything is awful!
