Oh dear Lord! 14+ fatalities in Beauregard ,Al. Less than 5 miles from our doorstep. Thank the powers that be, we were spared.

Nightly news report updated the fatality count for Beauregard: 23 dead as of tonight. Still some people missing,search will resume in the morning. My heart is aching.

That is so sad! they had a thing about it on the news, parts of GA hit too? But most of the fatalities were in one county in Alabama they said. But there were a bunch of tornadoes that hit? And showed some of the devastation/destruction of the houses and stuff, some of them totally flattened/gone, very sad.

Yeah, we live in Beauregard in Lee county. Close to the GA.line.The tornado followed a 78 mile path, and then another one about 1/2 hour later. No fatalities other than our town.

Oh wow that’s scary! And that seems like a long path for a tornado? And I suppose that is good there are no other fatalities in other areas but obviously very sad there were any at all.
