The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Yeah, snow near freezing is the worst. Definitely hard on the heart to shoved. MAYBE that is the last of your big snows for the year.
I hope so!! Son is supposed to plow snow tomorrow for one of the townships so hubby has to get up early to get him out. It’s going to be a nightmare to move this stuff. With the winds predicted I wish they’d hold off. He’s been in the ditch twice already with the road grader due to bad visibility.

They call the heavy wet snow - widow makers, out here. But, I'm the ONE who has shoveled it for almost 50 years., and years before that in our former house. My mom really knew how to guilt people into doing what she wanted.

She told me as a kid that, if my father shoveled snow, he would die of a heart attack, we would lose our home and have no where to live. Somehow guilt didn't stick to my brother or older sister. They never shoveled snow EVER.

Actually it was heavy on the lying, my grandparent's hated my father, would have certainly taken us in. Plus I discovered shoveling snow was fun . I loved it and was very good at it. This year we really haven't had any amount that needed shoveling. But I cleared the long driveway anyhow - as it's used also as a wide sidewalk.

can't like that D.M.C- it is hazardous to the plow drivers.

Especially at the beginning of our block. Man/family has 4 cars and parks them always on the street, instead of any in the big garage or on their short driveway. They are always buried in snow and just sit there. I'm surprised the plow guy doesn't have the police ticket them or have them removed.

Well, we got our puppy this afternoon! She is so sweet and so chill! Hubs said she looked like a baby polar bear, so we are going to call her Ursa. (The Latin word for bear.) She is a little shy, and super laid back! Already wags her tail when she sees me! I'm in love! :love
So jealous! I want one.

This is country roads so hopefully no vehicles will be parked on them.
